lovely, kind and generous lady.
She
touched many lives and made wonderful memories.
How
lucky one is to have known her.
Ellen
was the Great-Granddaughter of
Magdalena (Briner) & Jacob Eby.
On a personal
note... I treasure the short-times I spent with Ellen and appreciate the family
& community history she generously shared with me, as I researched the Magdalena
book. It gave me great insight. I also greatly admire Ellen, for her generous
bequest of an original Magdalena hooked rug to the Perry County, PA community. This was a remarkable gift, both for future generations to enjoy and as an excellent
example of fiber art created by a Pennsylvania woman.
